SweetChat vs Soul Fun: End Premium Without Losing the Plan

Plan the end of premium access with SweetChat's preserved-character FAQ and SoulFun's separate renewal-request terms.

A subscription can end while a creative project continues. The practical question is which parts remain readable, which features become unavailable and what you should preserve yourself.

SweetChat publishes a specific statement about characters and history after premium ends. SoulFun’s subscription terms describe a cancellation and access timeline, but do not establish an identical preservation promise.

The SweetChat account after premium

SweetChat’s pricing FAQ says cancellation is available in account settings, access continues through the billing period, and the account then reverts to free. It explicitly says characters and conversation history are preserved.

That gives a text-first reader a reason to distinguish ending premium from ending the account. It does not establish that every premium group, extra character slot, photo action or video feature remains usable without payment.

The same page contains inconsistent language about some current entitlements. We do not infer the exact behavior of an over-limit character collection from a general preservation sentence.

A preserved character is not necessarily the same as an unrestricted editing or media allowance.

The SoulFun request route

SoulFun’s subscription terms describe cancellation through an account-holder feedback-form request. The terms distinguish the end of future renewal from a refund and describe access continuing until the paid period ends.

We did not submit a request or measure how long it takes to process. The reviewed subscription document does not supply the same explicit character/history preservation statement as SweetChat’s FAQ.

That absence is a limit on this comparison, not proof that SoulFun automatically deletes everything. Do not replace an undocumented outcome with either reassurance or an alarming guess.

Preserve the project, not an assumption

For an original fictional adult character, keep a small independent project record before changing access:

  • The character’s enduring identity and conversational manner.
  • The present scene and last resolved decision.
  • An original opening you may want to revise later.
  • The biller, renewal date and any cancellation confirmation.

Keep only material you have rights to retain. This record is not a complete export of a model’s private memory system, and a copied public character does not become your original creation.

If a story depends on a group scene, separate the cast brief from the platform-specific feature. The writing can remain useful even if that particular group surface is no longer included.

Account deletion is a different endpoint

SweetChat’s privacy policy describes deletion and export rights, and says account deletion removes personal data and conversations within its stated period. That is a provider policy claim, not a result we independently verified.

Deleting the account would intentionally move beyond the pricing FAQ’s “revert to free” situation. It should not be used as an assumed substitute for cancelling a renewal.

Choose with that lifecycle understood. SweetChat provides an explicit post-premium preservation statement; SoulFun provides a request-based cancellation framework with a different documented scope. A cleanly recorded ending lets you pause spending without losing track of either the account relationship or the original story you wrote.

Sources and scope

This comparison separates documented capabilities from editorial interpretation. Source access and any limitations are described in the article; a suggested evaluation is not a claim of completed testing.
